3 Medical Centers in NY/NJ VA Health Care Network (VISN 2) to Receive iBOT® Personal Mobility Device Donation

Twenty-five iBOT® Personal Mobius Mobility LLC Devices will be donated to VA's Spinal Cord Injuries and Disorders Centers (SCI/D Center). Three VA Medical Centers in New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network (VISN 2) will each receive an iBOT® Personal Mobility Device donation - East Orange VA, NJ; Bronx VA and Syracuse VA.

The East Orange VA Medical Center will kick off the donation drop-offs on:

The James J. Peters (Bronx VA) iBOT© donation will be on June 8, 2021. The Syracuse VA iBOT® donation will be on August 4, 2021.

The iBOT® is a robotic, multi-modal mobility product that provides people with disabilities, including disabled Veterans, with new levels of freedom and independence. It has four driving modes that allow the user to climb curbs, negotiate terrain including sand, snow and hiking trails, move and interact at eye-level and even climb stairs.
